Rockmountain is a much-loved family home. Whether this is your first visit to Islay, or if you are returning to sample more of its beauty, you will indeed be welcome.

- 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed, accommodating a maximum of 6 people, with a single futon also available in extremis
- Large open plan living room / dining room, separate kitchen, bathroom, second WC upstairs
- Designed by award
winning Scottish architects, in a modern style, with a preference for
natural materials (eg wood floors and worktops, slate roof)
- Driveway for 2
cars, about 1/3 acre of garden under construction (a 10 year project
in itself, currently at an early stage)
- High specification
with modern art and furniture, linen supplied, underfloor heating and
a multi-fuel stove
- 'Freeview' TV,
wireless broadband (bring your own PC), CDs and DVDs, a selection of
Scottish novels, guides and books about Islay
- Washing machine,
drier, oven, microwave, bread-maker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, audio
system. Crystalline water from our own well, set deep into the underlying
rock
- Sorry, but dogs, other pets and smoking are not allowed. Children are very welcome, and we have wheelchair access
